Private Plane Tour of San Francisco

My old buddy Aman graciously offered to take me for a tour of the Bay Area during my recent visit to San Francisco.  Even though there were clouds over most of the city and towards the coast, it was flyable up high and over to Oakland.  Thanks Aman - I loved the flight and was most impressed by your piloting skills!

Also from this trip - Yosemite landscape photos

The pilot-in-command, my old friend Aman, along with his Palo Alto Flying Club's Cessna 172.

The honorary co-pilot and official flight photographer.

The best flight crew this side of the space shuttle.

Aman banks it over the clouds, high over San Francisco.

A nice view of the city of San Francisco from 4500 feet.

Downtown San Francisco, right at the edge of the cloud line that covered the rest of the city.

We had a nice view of the Bay Bridge going over to Oakland. It was too cloudy to see the Golden Gate Bridge.

Flying directly over San Francisco International, we had a great view of a United 747 landing just as another 747 was taking off right underneath us.

Captain Jabbi lines her up on final for a perfect landing.
