Redwing Airport Hang Gliding

The following photos were taken while aerotowing at Redwing Airport in central New Jersey.  The first group of vertical keel photos were taken in October of 2003, while the horizontal nose photos were taken in July of 2003.  All were shot with a Nikon N6006 and a Nikon 16mm fisheye lens.

Banking over, enjoying the late fall color changes in the central New Jersey foliage below.

A group of gliders waiting for their turn to be towed up are staged by the grass runway just below my right wheel.

Bringing it home, heading towards the Redwing hangar and glider set-up area.

A great view of the Redwing Airport, located just to the right of my harness. You can see the "x" shape of the grass runways, along with cars and gliders in the set-up area by the hangar. Also visible is the dragonfly towing up another glider just above the middle of the "x".

McGuire AFB is the gray area above and toward the horizon from the wheel in the right side of the photo.

Another good view of Redwing Airport in the left side of the photo, and one of central New Jersey's many horse farms in the lower right.

Every year this farmer carves a corn maze in his field for Halloween. One of these years I'll have to check it out at ground level!
